My Story

I was born in Holy Cross Hospital, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I have lived in South Florida all my life. Growing up in Boca Raton, I had an awesome childhood though we were not a Christian family. It was not until I was 25 that I found Christ.

I attended Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church and Calvary Chapel for 12 years, spending most of those years as a member of Coral Ridge. I came to the Avenue Church in 2012 and felt at home right away. For the first time, I became very active in serving at the Church and enjoyed being able to serve Christ in whatever way I was called to. I now have the privilege of serving as one of the Deacons in the Church and I am so blessed to have been given this humbling opportunity.

A year after attending the Avenue Church, I met my amazing wife Megan (at a Walgreens of all places). We still laugh about it to this day and God’s sense of humor in it all. She has 3 years clean and sober and I have never touched a drug or a drink. In saying this, I believe God brought us together to show me the realities and struggles of those who suffer with addiction, and I believe I am able to be there as a good support for her.

We are expecting our first child, Logan in August of this year, and know that it is going to be a major lifestyle change for us but we are super excited to take on the challenge and begin growing a family together, and watching God work in and through all of these new adventures in our life.

Fun Stuff about me: I like to tell stupid jokes and will attempt a practical joke given the chance.

My Greatest Experience with God: My entire life, looking back to where I was and to where I am now and seeing God’s sovereign hand in it all.
