My Story

I was born and raised in South Florida, the youngest of 4 kids. I genuinely came to know the Lord at the age of 3 or 4, and remember knowing to my core that he was both, My Lord and my friend, because of Jesus’ death and resurrection. I was nurtured in faith and life by my family and by various relationships and programs at Spanish River Church.

Currently, I am incredibly blessed to be married to my amazing husband Arno, and am the very privileged mother to 2 year old Axel. When I am not working on women’s discipleship projects or caring for Axel, I work as a pediatric occupational therapist. I absolutely love my work in this field and could talk about it for hours.

My greatest experience with God: My experience of God through his word is something that I absolutely relish. Anytime I journey through a book of the Bible, I find myself enraptured by God’s living and active voice and his brilliant mind. In Genesis, he created by speaking the world into existence, and I feel that he continues to use his written Word to create newness in our hearts and lives in ways that leave me completely floored. More than books, devotionals, podcasts, or articles; that daily, bit-by-bit discovery of his message and voice unfolding just overwhelms me, and I am so grateful for the anchor of his word in the face of a multitude of other competing messages and voices.
