CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
KINGDOM STUDENTS
We care deeply about the spiritual lives of our children and so we provide Christ centered classes where your children can learn and you are able to serve. We provide fun and safe, age-specific classes for children during our Sunday mornings gatherings. We serve children from birth through fifth grade. Please consider serving our children.
Our dynamic youth ministry is for twelve to seventeen-year-olds, and includes both Middle School and High School ministries that meet at various times throughout the week. This is a fun ministry AND truly life-changing.
PRAYER TEAM
SET UP TEAm, 6 at 6
Every week volunteers help set up the stage, seating, and various tables, and tear-down after last service. Volunteers are needed Sundays at 6:00 am. More hands are always appreciated for this vital ministry that helps our service run well.
Our prayer team prays over the service and ministry areas each week, and also prays for the weekly prayer requests we receive. If you believe in the power of prayer and are a committed intercessor, please join this vital ministry.
TECH/VIDEO TEAM
WORSHIP TEAM
Our worship team is committed to serving the Avenue Church family through leading engaging praise and worship. Opportunities include singing, playing an instrument, and creative development. If you are gifted in any of these area, we invite you to come try out.
This team is committed to serving the technical needs of The Avenue Church. Opportunities include: assisting with sound, lighting, and video during worship service and at other special events.
Welcome TEAM
Each week when you come to The Ave you are greeted by smiling faces and welcoming hearts, many of whom belong to this very special team. They greet you at the door, serve you refreshments, and answer your questions. Whether you love welcoming and meeting new people, or prefer to serve behind the scenes, you have a spot on this team. Team members serve at either or both services and are encouraged to come 30 minutes early to help set up, and stay just a few minutes after the second service to help tear down.
WHAT IS LOVE DELRAY?
Love Delray is a quarterly event where volunteers serve Delray Beach nonprofits by helping with numerous tasks needed on location. The day begins at Trinity Church (400 N Swinton Ave) for fellowship, breakfast, and prayer (coffee, fruit, and snacks). At 8:45 am everyone goes to the specific locations they have signed up to serve from approximately 9am-12pm.
