WHAT TO EXPECT
How do I get there and what times are your services?
1
The Avenue Church is located at 400 N. Swinton Avenue Delray Beach, FL. 33444.
We offer two convenient services each Sunday: 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM
**Kingdom Kids children's ministry for 0-5th Grade is available during our 10:30AM Service**
What should I wear?
2
We’re more concerned with meeting your real life needs than with what you wear.. Just dress how you feel comfortable and you’ll fit right in.
Where should I park?
3
There is multiple parking areas on the Trinity Church and School campus and you are welcome to park in any of them. If you have children we would recommend you park in the lot that is on the far North side of campus accessible off Swinton Avenue. There is also overflow/available parking in the grass lot directly across the street from the gymnasium where there will be a police officer helping you to cross.
What’s available for my kids?
4
We have an excellent kid’s experience called Kingdom Kids that your child will love. It takes place in the Early Childhood Center on the Trinity Church and School Campus.
-
Check in starts at 10:15 am. We have multiple age appropriate classrooms for ages 0-12.
-
Kingdom Kids is Christ-Centered and incredibly safe.
-
All of our Kingdom Kids volunteers are required to apply for the position and are background checked. Lead teachers must also be members of either The Avenue Church or Trinity Lutheran Church.
Additionally, there is an area designated for Babies and is located in a hallway adjacent to the gym where we worship. Families may gather there and view and listen to the service while caring for their babies and infants.
How about my older children?
5
We offer our Kingdom Students Ministry to children age 12-17 during our service. The Kingdom Students join us at our 10:30AM service in the gymnasium for our service where they will worship with us. They will then be announced to exit where they will go with our Youth Pastor and team to the Youth Room for their own Sunday experience. This included small group and teaching. We recommend you arrive about 15 minutes before the service.
Where do I go? & What should I expect in a service?
6
Our services are held in the gymnasium on the campus. You will be greeted by our Connection Team and given a bulletin that has helpful information about the service and what is happening at The Avenue Church. In the bulleting there is a Connection Card. Please fill the Connection Card out at any point during the service. You will soon discover that our main desire is for you to experience the life-changing presence of Jesus Christ through music and teaching.
There will be coffee (both hot and cold brew) and snacks located in lobby of the gym for you to enjoy. You can visit our Connection Table where you can get your questions answered and check out information about our various Small Groups and ways to get engaged and connected.
Why should I fill out the Connection Card?
7
The Connection Card is a great way for us to get to know you. We would be grateful to have a record of your visit. There is a space on the back of the Connection Card for you to write down a prayer request. We have a prayer team that will pray over your request throughout the week. You can fill out the Connection Card anytime during the gathering and place it in the offering basket at the end of the service.
Enjoy The Avenue Church Experience.
